SSPRS is looking for professional applicants with skills and or professions in computing, electronics, law enforcement, medicine, psychology and psychiatry. We would also welcome any science career, such as chemistry, geology and biology. 

Even if you do not have a degree or specialization in those areas, we would still like to talk to you about becoming part of our team. We will train you in the methods we use to collect data, conduct investigations and handle and work with our clients in a professional manner. 

All SSPRS members are volunteers; we do not get paid for what we do. All funding comes from the members and goes towards our work. We do not have monthly dues at this time. 

All applicants must pass a criminal background check and then pass it once a year thereafter for their entire time with SSPRS. This applies to all members.

Applicants are specifically being recruited from the following areas:

Northeast Tennessee
Southwest Virginia
Northwest North Carolina
Northwest South Carolina

Our members need to be able to be present for workshops, team meetings and investigations and public events. We rely on each other and need the whole crew to work like a well oiled ship. We can't do that if some of our folks are not present so be sure that you can make it to and from such events.
